Turf Enhancement Plan
At Grass Master, we’re proud to offer our Turf Enhancement Plan! A strategic blend of services designed to bring out your lawns top potential.
This comprehensive plan targets soil health, root development, and turf density for a visibly thicker, greener lawn. While each service offers benefits on
its own, the full plan delivers the best results.
Core Aeration
- Core aeration enhances air, water, and nutrient penetration into the soil.
- Alleviates soil compaction, promoting healthier root growth.
- Reduces thatch buildup, improving lawn resilience.
- Enhances nutrient uptake, leading to a lusher, greener lawn.
- Increases tolerance to drought, diseases, and foot traffic.
Recommended
Over-Seeding
- Perennial rye, and Kentucky bluegrass: offers resilience and rapid germination.
- Perennial rye grass: quick establishment for fast coverage.
- Kentucky bluegrass: forms dense, lush turf over time.
- Durable and appealing lawn: withstands foot traffic and environmental stressors.
- Watering post-application: ensures proper seed germination and establishment, encourages root development and fosters healthy growth.
Recommended
Lime Application
- Balances soil pH levels for improved nutrient absorption.
- Enhances soil structure for better water retention and root growth.
- Reduces susceptibility to diseases and pests.
- Maximizes effectiveness when paired with aeration.
- Promotes lush, vibrant grass growth.
- **This service is free with purchase of the package.**

Liquid Aeration
- Breaks up compacted soil to allow roots to access essential nutrients.
- Assists with thatch breakdown through microbial activity.
- Improves soil health by increasing organic matter and microbial life.
- Enhances water retention and reduces runoff.
- No mechanical disruption—no holes or plugs left behind.
- Promotes stronger root systems and greener, healthier turf.

Best Way to Rejuvenate
Your Lawn
While lawn aeration, or core aeration, creates small holes in the ground, allowing for air, water and nutrients to better penetrate the roots. This helps lawn treatments to work more efficiently and effectively. While lawn aeration is a standalone service, it works best with overseeding, offered in our lawn rejuvenation services.

Overseeding
If you’re struggling with undesirable grass, overseeding can help. While overseeding is not meant to repair bare patches, it can introduce a better variety of grass for thin lawns. This service works best with lawn aeration, found in our lawn rejuvenation services, to give grass seed the air, water and nutrients it needs
Should I Choose Liquid or Core Aeration?
Core aeration is a mechanical process that removes small plugs of soil from the lawn. This method physically opens up the soil, making it excellent for relieving compaction, improving water and nutrient absorption, and encouraging strong root development. It’s particularly effective when combined with overseeding, as the open holes provide an ideal seedbed for new grass to establish.
On the other hand, liquid aeration is a non-invasive treatment that uses a soil-loosening solution to break up compaction at a deeper level than traditional methods, while also improving microbial activity and increasing organic matter. It helps with thatch breakdown, improves water retention, and promotes long-term soil health—without the disruption or mess of plugs left behind. Because it covers the entire lawn uniformly and enhances the soil profile over time, we recommend liquid aeration for routine aeration needs when no overseeding is involved. It’s a cleaner, more convenient solution that still delivers powerful results for healthier, greener turf.

Things to Know...
- Water the soil 1–2 weeks before aeration for best results. Moist soil allows
for deeper, more effective aeration. - Let us know if you have a sprinkler system or invisible dog fence so we can avoid damaging them.
- Water newly seeded areas 3–5 times per week to encourage strong seed germination.
- Can be done in spring, fall, or both!
