When most of us think about winter, lawn care isn't the first thing that comes to mind. But there are a few things you can do in the winter to ensure your yard is in top shape when the snow melts.
- Place markers around your driveway so you don’t drive into your yard after a snowfall
- Take advantage of warmer winter days to remove leaves and other debris from your lawn
- Try not to walk on your lawn when it’s frozen to avoid dead spots
- Fertilize before the first freeze of the winter
Winter lawn care is by far the easiest of all the seasons, but that doesn’t mean it’s not important. Follow our winter tips for a healthy yard all year long or contact Grass Master if you need some help.
